Land That I Love

Congratulations to Senator Barack Obama. I feel glad to be alive to see an African-American be elected as the President of the United States of America. I hope and pray that his election to the presidency will help to heal the deep wounds caused be centuries of racial injustices suffered by the people of this country. No, I didn't vote for him, and he certainly has his work cut out for him, but I won't fail to recognize the extreme significance of this historic election.
I am proud to be an American. I am proud to vote. I am proud to believe in God.
God bless America.

I second that. I am a bit nervous for the next 4 years but I am trying my best to be optimistic. God Bless America.
