Domestic Disturbance

Brian was cutting his hair in our bathroom and needed a little help around the ears. He showed me how to work the clippers and said, "Have at 'er."

When I was done I was quite proud of myself. He had some superb looking ears. I triumphantly asked, "What do you think?"

He answered, "Well, that's really great, babe. Except for this part here where you shaved off my sideburn."

So I made him cookies.

I love you. Dad.

Lol - way better than when I shaved Tyler's hair TO HIS SCALP. I might need some sort of photographic evidence. Caleb thoroughly enjoyed reading this...

Also? Peanut butter cookies are my favorite. Are these peanut butter cookie SANDWICHES?! You just blew my mind.

Worth losing the burns for that. Lets make a zipline to Hillsboro and Cookie can bring the cookies to us. - trav

Oh yes, Kim, yes they are. And when you're done birthin' that baby, I will make you some.
Also, I did take a picture for evidence, but Brian was embarrased about it. He said he didn't want people to see his pores. ;)

I massacred Jay's hair not long ago when I thought there was an attachment on the razor and there wasn't. Maybe giving our husbands bad haircuts is a rite of passage. Didn't think to do the cookies, though! If I had, I almost bet he'd let me do it again!

Oh, home haircuts...they are the best! I have to say that w/ 5 boys in my house who need their hair cut at least every 3 weeks it was getting expensive. So...I took some lessons from Ally Bott and have been clipping every since. The only problem is that I suck at it. Luckily Mark's hair usually turns out the best. The boys...not so much. It is worth saving about $40 a month though. Maybe eventually I will get good at it.

P.S. I want that cookie recipe!!! YUMMO!

Lol...I can totally relate. Cory likes to get his hair cut about every two weeks and likes it super short...no biggie right? Totally wrong. He had to go the next day before he had his military drill weekend so no one could make fun of him. Needless to say I took the clippers home :-)
PS Abs, can I get your current address?

Yeah, Spencer won't let me touch his hair anymore. I laughed so hard when I read your post.
