God Has a Sense of Humor

I've always thought that loud burps and farts were really funny. I know it's not polite.

But still...

I think that's why the good Lord sent me this little gas factory.

Because who doesn't love a good laugh at 2:44 am?
And heck, if you're gonna be up, you might as well be smiling.

one week till i get to hear the farts in person!! can't wait to giggle over it with you. :) i promise to change all her diapers and hold her when and especially if she's fussy!

also? it only makes sense that she is this way. i could start naming examples, like JACKSON HOLE and SUBWAY, but i won't. :)

Isn't it amazing how waking up during the wee hours of the morning is OK when you have them? And the farts? Come on, that's just an added bonus. What are you eating lady? I don't remember distinct farts with my babies.

So funny and what a darling picture of little Lydia. LOVE her name by the way.

The gassy babies are the best. At least she isn't holding it in. That can make for some sure-fire fussiness! Just wait until you bring her to church and she has an extremely loud blowout during the most reverent time possible. Trust me, it will happen.
How are you feeling anyway? Hopefully you are getting some rest during the day. Love your guts woman.

Ha! That is great. I remember nights of giggling with my husband. Now church seems to be the chosen time for loud burps!

Farts and burps are still funny at our house!

One of Evie's expressions that she picked up from bodily eruptions has been "What was that?!". I wish now that I started with "excuse me" or even a hint of silence might have been good. I can't help it but giggle when it happens; except when she announces it in public like say after someone does it at the grocery store or the kid waiting in line in front of her. But, it is still funny to me inside. ;) I thought a good laugh was supposed to relieve the "pressure", not the other way around. Just a thought.

Sometimes I can't tell if the toots come from Lola or Reece. She's also a champion burper. We get a huge kick out of both.
