Quilt Update

So....I didn't finish by Christmas, like I had planned. But I am very near the finish line, thanks to my mom who was here for a week with my dad.

Last night, my mom and I stayed up till 2 AM quilting and talking about childbirth. This will always be a precious memory to me. Come to think of it, working on this quilt has given me many precious memories: quilting with my two sisters and eating Robintino's pizza and Coke (not near the quilt though!), giving the quilt to my dear mother-in-law and seeing the look on her face (though I was only to take it away again), and working on it on my own over the past year as I have graduated from college and planned and hoped for this little baby of mine.

It's been a lot of work, a lot of fun, and even though it's for someone else, I think this quilt has given me alot, too.

How's that for being sentimental...

Alright, I'm off to quilt the last few diamonds and (hopefully) start putting on the binding!

This is a great picture of you, mom and the quilt. You can really see what the quilt looks like. It is nice to have some little projects like that to do.

So excited for you little girl to come.

So much love goes into every stitch of a quilt! I'm so glad you are near the end. What an accomplishment.
