Confession: It really freaks me out when people talk about how much they want to "eat those fat baby cheeks". When I hear any version of this phrase I imagine crazed women literally eating the faces off babies.
It's rather frightening.
I assume that you are trying to say you want to hug, kiss, and squeeze the adorable wee one. But when did that become synonymous with eating wee ones? Unless you're Heckedy Peg, this phraseology is just plain creepy.
And even if you are Heckedy Peg it's creepy.
Plus, you're a witch.

Can't explain it, it just is. Maybe it's that you love them SO MUCH the only possible way to express it is to want to eat them. It does spill over to other babies, too. They're just generally yummy.
I always hate when kids talk baby talk to my kids. It takes everything in me not to say anything! They are just trying to be nice.

there's NOTHING wrong with that. I just appreciate it when people say what they mean.
sucking on baby cheeks? totally fine. CHEWING on them? EATING them? not fine. creepy.
