A Letter

Dear Oregon,

I just wanted to say thanks. Thanks for your diversity. I can go to the dunes, the rainforest, the beach, the mountain, the desert, the volcano, the second deepest lake in the world and all in one weekend.

You're pretty amazing.

Last weekend I went on a waterfall hike at Silver Falls State Park. I saw six waterfalls and stood underneath three. Then I walked through an old growth forest that felt, honestly, like a holy place.

It was so quiet.

And so green.

It was like I was walking inside an emerald.

So thanks, Oregon. I think I love you.

Sincerely,

Abby

Oh man, what I wouldn't give to be somewhere beautiful and green right now. But since I can't be, I appreciate the pictures. I wish I could've gone with you guys, that looks like it was a lot of fun.

Those photos are so gorgeous! I'm glad you had weather over the weekend. It's so much easier to get back to the week when the weekend was sunny and refreshing!

I have GOT to go there! We may be taking a road trip up to Washington in June. Maybe we can stop by!

Abby, these were some beautiful pictures. Chris and I have decided that hiking a camping is the way to go. We have yet to take our first hike. By the way your brother surprised me last week with an over night to Albany, without Joe. It was great.
