Guess Who's Pregnant?!

Everyone but me.

Seriously.

I'm not kidding people. Today alone I found out two friends were pregnant. Yesterday? I found out another two were pregnant. So that brings my list of pregnant friends up to 7 not including one pregnant sister.

Am I doing it wrong? Because I'm seriously starting to wonder.

I know exactly what you are talking about. This past week alone, 2 of my sister-in-laws and 3cousins had their babies. Not. Fair.

Of all people, I know how it goes! (And Bridge!) It'll happen, don't worry. You know what helped me? Reading my blessing...

Kim said it! I read my blessing whenever I need a good reminder of what the Lord has in store for me.

I agree with the Kilpacks...sometimes stress is why it doesn't happen. I know it is easier said than done to just de-stress your life, but I have several friends that have said when they stopped worrying about every little ovulating minute they finally got pregnant.

Be happy that you are young and married to a great guy as well! If it takes longer than you are wanting there are always other ways to help make it happen. And as Kim said, read your blessing and you will find comfort. Patience is frustrating, isn't it?

Well little lady I am living proof that it'll happen when it's meant to be. Don't worry (which is such an annoying thing to be told at this point, i know. but it's true.) You have very good advice here, all of it. But when it does happen, you'll make a damn fine momma!

Thanks for all the encouragement, guys. I feel a little childish being all mopey about it.

But, it sounds like others have experienced similar feelings as well.

Oh, and by the way, I remembered another two friends that are pregnant, so that makes 9. Can't they all send me their pregnant vibes? Flip.

Again, thanks. You are good friends.

I am a "lurker"- found you through Tara Nelsons blog. Anywho, I feel you on this. So frustrating and extremly heart breaking. We've been trying for umm 7 months. Nothing. So good luck, I hear taking prenatals twice a day is suppose to help. Folic acid is key I guess. Maybe get a priesthood blessing, too?

... And furthermore, I believe whole heartedly that James Franco should have been Edward ;o)

Hi Abby, this is Rachel, Ryan's sister in law. I hope you don't mind me commenting! If you ever want to talk about the whole getting pregnant thing, email me. I have tips that other women have told me that I would love to share and I am going to start trying for #4 in March. It would be fun to have a buddy, even though we really don't know eachother-lol. My email is beyondbliss1@msn.com if you are interested! Hang in there. From what I see and hear, you are going to be a great mommy one of these days :)

Thank you, Laura and Rachel, for your comments! Sorry I haven't responded until now, I just read them. I know, Laura, my one sister who is pregnant right now with her 7th tried for four years and was convinced she couldn't have any more. She was contemplating adoption and then, voila..she got pregnant. And then she got pregnant again, and again...Fertile Myrtle, ya know what I mean? Plus, I realized after I posted this that I actually have 9 pregnant friends, not 7, and then I got even more depressed. ;) But I really do apprectiate your comment. Not that I don't want you to get pregnant, but it just feels good to know that I am not alone in my experience. You really start to wonder if something is wrong with you when you can't get pregnant and everyone around you can, and even when they're not even trying to.
And Rachel, YES I will be emailing you pronto for some tips! Thank you so much for your willingness to share your advise. And yes, it WOULD be fun to have a buddy.
Thanks again, girls. And you are more than welcome to comment any time. Or lurk...or..whatever. ;)

And yes, indeed, James Franco should have been Edward. Even though he's a major stoner.
